The 2020 WSAE Golf Scramble will be held at the picturesque White Horse Golf Course, just 20 minutes north of the convention hotel, Suquamish Clearwater Resort. This is a 9-hole team event set up for all skill levels and to prove it, we’ll have prizes for the WORST team score plus best team score and closest shot to the pin.
NEW this year, we will be offering a FREE Putting Contest one hour prior to the pre-convention Deep Dive. Still not ready to Swing, Slice & Shank on the course? Join us on the putting green for a stress-free chance to win an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge while reconnecting with your WSAE friends and colleagues. White Horse Golf Course will be hosting this year’s Deep Dive session, giving all WSAE delegates an opportunity to network by playing in the golf scramble, participating in the putting contest or BOTH just before the Deep Dive.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Promoting the event to newbies should be extremely easy based on the amusing day and joyful camaraderie that we experienced last year. If someone is hesitant to participate because they’ve never played golf, here is a helpful link you can send to beginners on Golf 101. This article may even boost their desire to finally take-up those lessons they’ve had on their to-do list.
“Learning to play golf is one of the greatest things you can do, both professionally and personally. Golf is a game for life and when you consider the joy through relationships that are developed in golf you can begin to see why. Golf has bridged communication gaps between parents and adolescent children, it has introduced and forged lifelong friendships and yes, it has led to new business opportunities. The relationships are not forced and contrived, because a passionate golfer can appreciate another who shares his or her zeal for the game.” Written by Hazeltine National on Aug 9, 2012
