The summit is focused on empowering individuals, particularly women, in leadership roles.

This interactive summit pulled from the empirical, courage-building book and research by Brené Brown, will deeply engage participants with their core values, showing how these values can foster trust within teams and support essential conversations in the workplace. Participants will determine their professional values, learning how to clearly identify and operationalize them into behaviors, and recognizing when actions may stray from these values. This process also involves anchoring values to set clear boundaries and practicing generosity towards others and themselves, ensuring actions align with beliefs.

Next, participants will focus on building and strengthening trust through the seven elements of trust: Boundaries, Reliability, Accountability, Vault (confidentiality), Integrity, Non-judgment, and Generosity (BRAVING). They will learn to translate these elements into actionable behaviors that enhance self-awareness and foster a cohesive team environment.

By the end of this summit, participants will have the tools and strategies to live their values authentically and build trust, deepening connections both personally and professionally.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and Operationalize Core Values: Participants will learn to articulate their core values and translate them into consistent, actionable behaviors.
  • Establish Boundaries Aligned with Values: Participants will understand how to set boundaries that reflect their values, while maintaining generosity and empathy toward themselves and others.
  • Deepen Understanding of Trust Elements: Participants will explore the seven elements of trust (BRAVING) and their role in building self-awareness and strong teams.
  • Implement Trust-Building Strategies: Participants will develop practical strategies to build trust and cohesion within their teams, applying the BRAVING framework in everyday interactions.
  • Navigate Difficult Conversations: Participants will learn how values and trust can serve as key foundations for important workplace conversations.
