Washington State University office of Professional Education conducts the annual Sewing & Stitchery Expo (Expo). Expo is seeking an Education Manager for the largest consumer sewing show in the nation, held in Puyallup, Washington. Expo has an average attendance of 23,000 people who come from all over the world to take part in this one of a kind education and vendor exhibition. Attendees can gain hands-on experience with the latest techniques and trends the sewing world has to offer. More than 100 daily seminars are taught by industry experts to enhance the attendees’ knowledge, skill, and entrepreneurial endeavors. The Education Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of program and seminar development; and subsequent implementation of the event.

The position involved close contact with multiple key stakeholders within and outside the University including Clothing and Textile Advisers of Washington, volunteers, vendors, local and national businesses and collaboration with Professional Education teammates. This position will be a crucial position leading all education and training for volunteers.
